Three Relationships We All Must Cultivate

It is a beautiful Thursday Luvs!!!

I am so deliciously happy right now, as I dance to Tamias "Him". It has such an infectious melody, and makes me feel so good. If you follow me at all, you know that music is my thang! It keeps me motivated, inspired and ready to dig in. So of course this song is right on point for what I want to discuss today.

So I've been trying the FACEBOOK LIVE VIDEO  and it's been really cool, and I've been able to talk with you all immediately, and last week I did a chat on "Why It's Important to be authentic, creative, unique and confident in personal and professional relationships."It was a lot of fun for me, but of course I went off on a tangent.:-). But it was helpful Information none the less. 

So since relationships is something I focus on a lot in my everyday practice as a coach and consultant, I wanted to share with you guys today the three relationships I believe we all should cultivate. The reason why I want to talk about this is very simple. We are all human, and we are social animals, meaning we need one another for our wants and needs to have a healthy, productive, and fulfilled existence. Life is more enjoyable when you know how to relate to one another(Relationship book coming in April) . So here we go.

THREE REALTIONSHIPS WE ALL MUST CULTIVATE

1. The first relationship at we all must cultivate is the relationship with ourselves. We must understand that we are an entity, and housed within us is a source of creativity, wonderment, and power. We must understand that we are the highest form of intelligence, and that we are created to take care of ourselves, those around us, and all of creation. When you understand these things, you take care of yourself much better because you now see yourself as valuable. 

If you believe as I do, you believe that you are created from a higher being, a spiritual being that exists outside of yourself, which lead me to the next relationship all humans should cultivate.

2. The next relationship to cultivate is the relationship with God the Creator. Now I am Christian , so for the sake of this blog, I will stay in alignment with my own beliefs, it is necessary to understand that the Source is God, and he allows others humans, things, ideas, and anything else as resources. Resources will dry up one day, but THE SOURCE IS NEVER ENDING. This relationship is important, because it feeds your soul. It replenishes the mind, and even the body. God is available to us everyday to walk ahead of us, and provide insight and wisdom while we are in the physical realm. He is the ultimate answer to all questions. So it is imperative to seek an all knowing, all loving God on a daily basis to have a fulfilled life.

3.The third relationship to cultivate is with your family friends, mate, and those who love you. They are your community. These are the people in your life that will add color, and richness to your life. They love you, even when they don't like you. This group of people will stand for you when no one else will, so it's important to value this group of people. Life is a journey and none of us can do it alone. With understanding these things life will be more bearable, if you continue to foster great REALTIONSHIPS with this group.

You know, everywhere I go I meet people. I don't care where it is, because I understand that they are just a mere reflection of me, so I'm careful to treat everyone with respect and am ready to give my undivided attention. This week has been an amazing one, it's been busy but BEAUTIFUL because of all the people I have met along the way.

Why do I want to help you I. Regards to better relationships? It's simple. I Love "love" and I love you. I am wrapped in love, and believe that it is the cornerstone for everything else. My purpose in life is to spread information, joy, inspiration, and motivation according to Gids plan not my own. I know that he is responsible for opening doors for me so that I can do just that. 

With Gods grace and guidance, I will continue, and who knows you may just see me on a worlds stage! So continue to put God first in everything you do, even when you don't feel like it. Love yourself, and treat others, especially those closest to you with love, and respect. Three Things All Highly Successful People Have In Common

Well helllllllloooooo folks!

It's been a minute....well a little longer than a minute since I've come to you, but I have some pretty good reasons, and they all involve me getting BIGGER.....BETTER AND READY TO GIVE YOU MORE!!

Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I must admit I have really missed you.(smile) Now I know that I still connect with a lot of you through Social media, but it's nothing like blogging, which is my absolute favorite. So I promise you that I am back at least twice a week!:-)

So.... Where have I been? Honey, let me tell you, this "Inspirational Beauty" has been doing things! Lol.

My life has been taking all types of twists and turns and I must say that I have leaned a lot in a very short amount of time, and I'm still learning. The biggest thing in my life is my New Television show!!!!! Yeah baby! I am officially the hostess of a great show called "Making It Great" on a wonderful Network(E F N Network)  and we are currently NUMBER FOUR IN A BASKET OF 350 shows!! It has been a blessing to add this to everything else that I'm already doing.

 

You know what's funny? I'm really enjoying the long hours, the grueling schedules along with being in front of the camera, not because I necessarily deserve to be there, but because I get to come to you in person where you can see me finally. It makes me feel like I'm closer to you than I was before than when I just speak to you through my words, or even through radio. I feel truly blessed. I've  also been doing more and more writing, and guess what? Getting ready to release a couple of books that you guys have beenwaiting on!!!! Yayyyy!! Why am I sharing this with you? I want you to get ready to go to the next level with me, you have been there since I wrote my very first blog, and before. So much has happened in my life since that time. So you know me, I'm very introspective, and I wanted to help you become more successful and fulfilled in your life. So what better way that to share with you THREE THINGS THAT ALL SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE HAVE IN COMMON. Now of course there are more, but for the sake of today's blog I wanted to just give you some very simple tools and things to think about, so let's get to it y'all!

Three Things That All Successful People Have In Common

1. All successful people Have The Ability to See What's Missing and Make It Appear

So usually this is described as VISION, but I wanted to say it another way. You see we all have this ability, but the difference between those that can't seem to grasp success  like those who do is the level of belief and Consitency in this area. 

Highly successful people make this apart of their lifestyle. They constantly look to create solutions. They understand that they are problem solvers. This can be in the workplace, an organization and even in personal achievement. This is important because this allows them to keep their creative juices flowing, keeps them sharp, and the more you do anything, the better you become. So take on is attribute, and begin to look for what's not there, and Create a clear vision, and make sure it has the element of PROBLEM SOLVING.

2. All Highly Successful People Have The Ability To Influence and Lead Others

Now without going to deep, we all influence someone, whether good or bad, and whether intentionally or not. The difference between no intentional "influence" and strategic influence is the ability to have others believe in themselves, and to believe in them as the one to lead. 

They understand that they are powerful, but they are a force when they build others. Some may think you either have this ability or you don't, but all LEADERS are not born. Most Leaders are created, so that means we all have a chance. Great leaders know that it takes a team to make things happen. It is a cocktail of inspiration, motivation, and strategic planning, and clear objectives for each individual, and to be able to transfer that belief to others. This is key. So if you want to be highly successful understand that building others and teaching others is a direct compliment to who you are as a leader. 

3. All Higly Successful People Are Intentional In Their Goals.

Ok so here we go, I love this because we all can do this. Let's just say that if you are trying to lose weight, you probably won't lose much if you are not clear on The amount, the timeframe and why! So now the goal is general at best, and when you have general goals, you will have general success. 

So why is it important to be intentional? 

This will allow you to have a clear pathway to what you really want.

 Example:A successful person who will hit their goal with set up up like this.

" I will lose 25 pounds by March 31st 2016 by eating fruits and vegatlbes three times a day, drinking eight glasses of water a day, and  exercising five times a week. I will then weigh myself every Saturday." 

As apposed to I want to lose 25 pounds this year. What?!!! How is that a goal? There are too many unanswered questions and variables left on the table. So the key to being successful in your goals is to be INTENTIONAL!!!

So these are just three things. I want you to take look into your own lives right now and assess to see where you are. Everything that I've done in the past three years have been very intentional, and that has allowed me to reach my goals in life. Most of you know that in that time I've taken my writing and formed several careers from it. I Ghostwrite for others, as well as  writing on my own as  well as Tv, Radio, Speaking  Coaching and Consulting. With each opportunity I sat down and wriote out why I wanted to do those things, and most importantly I reached  out to those who were willing to provide advice to help me along the way. I invested in myself, and I looked at my natural gifts , talents and skill see what made sense form life. MY PURPOSE WAS THE MAIN INGREDIENT .In the next blog we will focus on WHY ITS IMPORTANT TO FOLLOW YOUR PURPOSE

If You Don't Know Your "Why" You Will Be Defeated:written by Inspirational Beauty

Goodmorning Luvs!

It is Monday, and it is the beginning of the work week for most of us, and that is a beautiful thing! :-)
So! To get things started...I wanted to talk to you guys about one of the"MAIN" ingredient's to having a successful life! 

That ingredient is SELF BELIEF! I know that it sounds self explanatory,  but I wanted to take a moment to really concentrate on this.(smile). We often hear that we need Education, Money, Friends, Access, Beauty and so many other things to be a success. Well, some of those things can help, but you don't necessarily need them to start with. You see, when you believe first, that you are worthy of the goal that you are trying to reach, you will attract it! I don't want you to think I'm using "POSITIIVE" talk here.

I am coming from the perspective of Spiritual Law, The belief that everything first has to be a thought, and someone had to BELIEVE in it ,to have it manifest. So when it comes to yourself, you have to SEE it in your mind's eye... then the belief comes in,  then you add emotion, that emotion turns into desire , which then builds momentum, which causes ACTION!

But first, you have to know that you are worthy Luv...

Because, most of us want things, but deep down inside we are unsure of ourselves. We are constantly worried if we are good enough, unique enough, smart enough, pretty enough, and deserving enough. Those feelings cause us to just look at life from the sidelines. I don't care what money, degree, or access you have, if you do not believe in yourself, those things alone cannot sustain you in maintaining a happy and fulfilled life! When that happens, others belief in you will fall as well, because you are your biggest weapon! If you stop, why should we continue? Real talk!  

You are good enough, you are smart enough, you are talented enough, now that I believe in "YOU", now it's about time you show and prove! Go out into this world and be the best you can be, don't dim your light, don't worry about what other's think!

 In order for me to write to you today, I have to believe I have something to offer, and guess what?

I DO! 

I know that my gift is being layed before you in these words, and if you get nothing else out of this, get this one thing......

NOTHING IS STOPPING YOU BUT YOU!!! 

BELIEVE IN YOU... AND WATCH YOUR WORLD CHANGE!

Random Thoughts from Inspirational Beauty

As I come to you this evening , I see that my life is coming full circle. I am taking this evening to reflect on my life, and where I have been in my life especially the last year. I feel like it snuck up on me.

Have you ever felt that way? (Smile)

I know I'm certainly not the only one, I know you can feel where I'm coming from. As I write I'm reminiscing about some really great moments, as well as some moments that I thought would take me out, but as you can see ....

IM STILL HERE.

That's what makes life so interesting, it's the things that seem to hurt the worse that really cause you to grow, and I have had my share of hurtful moments in life. But I decided a long time ago that I wasn't going to allow anything to stop me. I guess I have to give my mom the credit for that way of thinking. 

She has that I WILL NEVER GIVE UP ATTITUDE!

So I don't know how to give up for long. I'm so used to going, and going. I have a mission, I have an assignment, and I know part of it has to do with you. I think of you, I pray for you. I want the best for you. I know you're saying, SHE DOESNT KNOW ME.... I know it sounds crazy, but I am linked to you.

So I want you to do me a favor, keep me in your prayers as I continue this journey. Tomorrow is a big day for me. A year ago I started a radio show just for fun, and amazingly it has grown bigger than I've ever expected. I must admit I really enjoy being on air. It's so much fun. Well tomorrow is our One Year Anniversay celebration on www.blogtalkradio.com/IAmMeRadio  I'm happy, but nervous. 

I know I'm capable to go further.  But I'm not always sure of my next move so continue to encourage me.

You are more Powerful than a TRAIN!

It's Thursday LUVS!!!

Today has been a beautiful day,still on vacation, and loving every second of it. I have been spending time with those I love and care about.  So I thought of you,  like I always do, and wanted to share a little SUNSHINE WITH YOU. So catch the rayyyys(smile)

So today, I woke up with so much energy, and as I was thinking out loud, I kept seeing a vision of a TRAIN.. Yes a TRAIN. I see a train moving at the speed of light.

It's beautiful....

It's SLEEK....

It's BUILT TO MOOOVE!

It gave me a rush down to my very soul. I could hear it on the tracks hugging  the curves as it pushes its way forward, and I asked God, what was this about. As I tuned in more to his words I realized he was speaking to how he made us during hard times, that we are made to move forward with grace, with elegance, POWER AND SPEED, to be able to hit those curves without losing a BEAT.

We know exactly when to get ready to speed up, and when it's time to slow down. 

He made us to hug those curves. God is shifting things in the atmosphere right now, and it may feel uncomfortable, but he is getting you ready to GET ABOARD!! There is noting that surprises him. He knows what's up ahead for you, so get ready. You don't have to be afraid. Just stay focused.

 Stay on the tracks. 

You are built for 

FORWARD MOVEMENT.

Just like a train, when you know who you are, and who you belong to you, nothing can stop you when you are in motion. I encourage you to know your power, and harness it. It's time to move. You have everything inside of you to move, you are a train... God is the track....  RIDE IT!!!

Nothing is impossible to those that see themselves through the eyes of GOD. 

THERE IS POWER, LOVE, AND GRACE  in his name. I hear him speaking and moving right now. He often talks to me through practical matters, and today is no different. So get ready...

 WE ARE MOVING AND SHIFTING TO OUR DESTINATION. 

I CANT WAIT TO MEET YOU THERE.

Why it's important to Have Compassion For All People

Wassup  Luvs!

It's Tuesday, at least where I am in my neck of the woods(smile), it's beautiful where I am, the weather is at a nice temperature at about 75 degrees, the sun is shining, and I AM HAPPY TO BE ALIVE!!! I'm listening to Drakes POUNDCAKE. The beats are traveling through my ears, RIGHT through my brain, and hittin right to my soul. YASSSS.

WHEN IM LISTENING TO MUSIC, I FEEL INVINCIBLE. I feel like my true self. I actually don't think I could write or even speak if I wasn't influenced by music. Wow I don't even want to know of a world without it.

Anyway.....

I wanted to share my thoughts on why we should really show compassion for one another and its be weighing on my heart.

I have been watching along with the rest of the world, at least in the U.S, about what's going on with Bruce Jenner(Best known as an Olympian)and his journey into becoming a woman, who he now calls Caitlyn. 

Why am I talking about this? 

Well..... For so many reasons. 

Do I know what it's like to be a Man struggling with gender issues? 

No....

Do I know what it's like to be married for years and love a woman, and have children while holding such an intimate secret?

No....

Do I know what it's like to live such a public life as an Olympian, a "Macho Man 

" who is expected to conquer women, and everything that comes with living that experience?

No.....

BUT....

I AM SOMEONE WHO DESIRES TO Be UNDERSTOOD AND VALUED. 

Some of you right now may be reading this, and not quite understand where I'm going with this. Well a couple of days ago, I was asked to be on a panel for our children and community about conflict resolution, and I was the Relationship Expert on the Panel.

Well... I explained that in order to resolve any conflict, ITS IMPERATIVE to be able to SEE THE OTHER PERSON AS YOURSELF. Truly see the other as you.... Then and only then, can you have true compassion for those that you believe to be completely different from you.

Why is that important? 

It's the basis for all human relationships. It is the cornerstone to be able to live in harmony and to be understanding so that we can all live in this world, and truly be our BROTHERS KEEPER. I may sound like POLLYANNA to some of you.

That's not who I am, and that is not my issue, and that is not my point.

I cannot change you, I'm not even offering that you chage how you feel about this particular story, but I will suggest to you that we all are human, and we can understand JOY...PAIN, UPS, DOWNS.

WE ALL DESIRE TO BE LOVED, and  UNDERSTOOD. 

WE ALL DESIRE FRIENDSHIP, ACCEPTANCE AND TO BE VALUED.

After watching the show with Bruce and his family, I understood things a lot better. I think that's all any of us want. We want to be loved no matter what choices we make in life by our friends and family.

It was clear to me that they all needed compassion, and to know that they are loved. I saw hurt, confusion, and loss in the eyes of Bruce and the children, and for that I understand their pain.

 So you may not think it's important to show all of humanity love, but it is the one thing that separates us from all ther creatures. THE CHOICE TO BE WHO WE DESIRE TO BE.

Right or wrong.....

GOD HAS GIVEN US FREE WILL, AND HE LOVES ALL OF US, AND ALL OF US FALL SHORT.... ACCORDING TO THE GOOD BOOK.

I am commanded to love everyone, though I am not commanded to condone everything. I am able to separate the two. I pray people can love me, even when they don't understand my choices. I am no better or worse than anyone who has gender issues. So think about it...... 

Don't ask for what you can't give others...

I hope that if you are living in secret, that there is someone in your life that you can share your feelings with. We all are in this together.

You are naturally Beautiful...My Journey on Loving My Natural beauty

Happy Hump Day Luvs!!!!

Wow, I am up early writing to you today, and sitting back preparing to work with a couple of clients, but not before chattin with you guys for a sec. Ok , so I'm sippin on a cup of warm tea,I have my music on mid volume, listening to a little jazz, and thinking about tonight's show.

Most of you know that I take a GOZILLION PICTURES....lol, but most of you don't know the story behind my love/hate relationships with pictures and my 20 year journey of never taking them. Yeah I know... You CANT INAGINE THAT! Lol

So here goes. I've always been an outgoing person. And loved being around folks, but never thought I was photogenic, so I would always disappear when it was time to take family photos. Really!!

 But something happened about three years ago. An old friend contacted me, and asked me to send some pictures to him because I didn't have any pictures up through social media at this time. After asking me five times, and me running out of excuses, he had a serious conversation with me. 

He forced me to think about why I WAS RUNNING FROM THE CAMERA.(smile)

He knew exactly where to hit me, he told me that by not taking pictures I was denying friends and family seeing me, and taking part in my life. He shared with me that I looked like my mom, and that I am denying her beauty by feeling ashamed of my own! 

Wow!!!

That struck me, because I believe my mom is beautiful along with other women in my family, but I must admit I had gained weight, felt my nose was too chubby, chin too short, and eyes were too small. Yes me INSPIRATIONAL BEAUTY!

If I didn't know me, I wouldn't believe it either(smile).

He challenged me to practice taking pictures, to see what my best angles were, and wallah..... I started snapping away. This pic below was one of the first I truly felt comfortable with. In this pic I saw KIM, I SAW MOM, GRANDMA, AUNTIES AND ALL THE WOMEN IN MY FAMILY. I INSTANTLY FELL IN LOVE WITH MY NATURAL, FLAWED BEAUTY BECAUSE I SAW MY HERITAGE.

What happened next even surprised me. I was going through a transition at this time. I had no idea that my life was about to go on A RIDE.... A REAL ROLLCOASTER when I took this picture, for the next year,I made a decision to grow in loving who I was on the inside, and what I saw on the outside. 

The love for enhancing who I was became an obsession. I began becoming more sensitive to my own needs, my desires, my ideas, and my life.

This journey of self discovery led me to writing, and inspiring and encouraging. 

You know...you and I are not so different, as a matter of fact we are the same. We have desires, hopes, wishes. We experience fear, failures and setbacks. So you don't always feel picture perfect but you are beautiful just the way you are.

Whether you look like me, or not, you have your own natural beauty that God himself blessed you with. So today we ARE CELEBRATING THE REAL YOU.NO MAKEUP, NO ENHANCEMENTS, JUST YOU.

I tell you all the time, I love you just the way you are. So join me tonight to here I Am Me Radio(host of Radio show) to see why you should love the skin you're in. I can't wait to hear all the stories. You know I have such a great relationship with the other two cohost on our show, we are truly great friends, and I appreciate who they are.
