I HAVE NEVER BEEN ASKED IF I KNEW SHAKESPEARE ON A JOB APPLICATION

You Know. . .I was just thinking about all the useless information that I have acquired over the years(as a young person) and was I was told that if I knew these things, it would insure a great life, a great job, and it would make me a success..... well, lets see....

I. I have never been asked on a job application if I studied Shakespeare.

2. I have never been asked by my Banker if I knew the value of x
3. I have never been asked by my Vet if I knew the entire animal kingdom before treating my animals. . . .

So these were things I had to learn! WHY? FOR WHAT?
Wouldn't it make more sense for us to learn things that are relevant to helping us in our everyday lives.

Like....
1. Learning what a mortgage is(before getting one)

2. Like learning about investments other than a SAVIN
GS ACCOUNT
3. Learning about grass roots politics.

The Education has not changed since The Industrial Age, it has not caught up with technology. Why is it ,that Countries with lesser resources, and less money are higher ranking in education than the WORLDS WEALTHIEST COUNTRY?

We are still teaching kids things that will not teach them how to SURVIVE in today's world, or climate. We are telling kids to get A's, in things they will never use. I am all about Education. Both of my Parents are Educator's. My issue is not with the Educator's, but with the curriculum they are forced to teach. It is archaic, it devalues young thinking minds. It is an insult, and frankly America can do better than this.

These are the things that make a difference in my life...I figure they might just make a difference in your life to.... Forgive me, just thinking out loud!

What are your thoughts about this. . .I would like to know! :-)

As always. . .
