Note to Ladies:
Ladies when you have a male child one of the things he needs to master in his adolescence years and young adulthood is conflict. He has to be able to to do this in those stages, so when he becomes a Man he will stand and confront them, and will not rely on a Woman to handle things for him. It is innate for us to want to take care of him, and protect him, but he needs balance. Generally, this is where his Father comes in, and if he does have a Father in the home or access to one, let him teach this to his son. It may look tough, it may look overbearing, but trust that Iron sharpen's Iron!
Too many of our boys are not getting this balance, and they are weakened by this, they are acting more like us , and using too much of their emotion, when they should be level headed. In these instances because we have done everything for him, our boys are not able to take care of themselves, or even able to lead a Woman, or care for his family. A mother's love is the best gift you can give him, but love him enough to make him stand up to responsibility, and accountability.
Let him do things for himself. If you do, you will bring out the Leader in him, and he will be able to pass that gift on. If you do this. . . .
Some lady ,somewhere will Thank you for the Man you Raised. . . .
